Simulacra is an ongoing photography performance. The series of images shows possible relation, through faces, between the spectator and the photos describing a personal and collective period between 1996 to 2021. The repeating of images constitutes the shapes of our collective memory. Gombrich, starting from the simple example of visual journalism, has demonstrated how the overproduction of images does not suspend or neutralize their strength. In front of images, the risk is to be distracted by the mediatic phenomenon, which will be the role of spectatorship?
